- Refer to Supplier’s performance

- Refer to Production forecast & Production mix

- To plan strategic purchase, buffer stock, yearly contract, consignment stock.

Purchasing Cost Management

- Evaluate offers to get the best price.

- Alternative products/ services

- Shorten delivery / lead time

- Control the freight

Developing new sources: Inclusion of new vendors in the approved vendor list

Management Purchasing Process

- Ensure that Purchase Order and procedured are followed.

- Monitoring the orders

Supplier Relationship Management

- Maintain healthy working relationship with all suppliers
