Purchasing Specialist

Purchasing Specialist (Buyer) is responsible for the purchase of direct and indirect materials.

• works closely with planner to issue Purchase Order (PO) for direct material purchase based on production schedule;
• ensures suppliers material on time delivery;
• works closely with supplier on new orders, reschedule and cancelation of open orders;
• follow ups with supplier for RTV or replacement of defective goods;
• participates in quarterly price negotiation with suppliers and Sourcing;
• files PO for internal and external audit purpose;
• conducts Annual Supplier Assessment; and
• other tasks as may be assigned by the Immediate Superior.

Educational Background:

Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or Engineering
