PURCHASING ASSISTANT

Roles & Responsibilities . Create, review, and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently. . Ensure timely approval and distribution of POs to vendors and suppliers. . Monitor open POs and follow up on delivery dates to meet project timelines. . Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs . Research potential vendors . Track orders and ensure timely delivery . Update internal database with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts) . Conduct market research to identify pricing trends . Evaluate offers from Chinese vendors and negotiate better prices . Prepare cost analyses . Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts . Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders . Liaise with internal department to ensure all products arrived in good condition .
