Purchaser (Construction/Logistics)

Key Responsibilities: Source, evaluate and liaise with local and overseas suppliers for construction materials & services Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings Manage logistics for both local and overseas shipments, including import and export coordination Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agents and customs where required Prepare and process purchase orders (PO), delivery orders (DO), invoices and shipping documents Ensure proper documentation for import/export (e.g. packing list, bill of landing, permits if applicable) Track shipments and monitor deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time and in good condition Follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate records of purchases, logistics and supplier performance Work closely with project/site teams to understand material requirements and timelines Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and project budgets Support other ad-hoc du...
