Purchase Officer

Job Objective

To provide effective and efficient support for all purchasing activities within the Purchasing Department which undertakes and evaluates all suppliers and vendors on a continuous basis for materials, services and works. This ensures that they have the capability to deliver the desired goods, items, materials or services on time, in the correct quantities and as per the agreement without compromising on quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Able to identify, negotiate, and implement purchasing agreements that lead to efficiencies in line with financial and procurement requirements.
• Ensures that all purchasing activities comply with regulations and laws related to purchasing practices and are in accordance with the Purchasing Agreement and standard practices set forth by the company.
