Purchase Engineer I

**Job Description**

Conduct purchasing in support of inventory management goals and activities. Administer proper terms and conditions, ensure compliance to Fisher procedures and trade compliance for new supplier set-up. Ensures PO’s are requested for the factory needs or to the best LT that can be given by supplier if not possible. Communication of periodic performance reports to key suppliers, along with facilitation of regular conference calls.

+ Applies procedures which are described in QA Manual.
+ Makes sure, final product is fully in line with write up, prior to completion.

**Procurement:**

+ Initiate RFQs in accordance with global sourcing strategies and Approved Vendor List, ensuring alignment with project BOMs and casting specifications for control valve components.
