**Position Purpose**

Performs pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis on adult, pediatric and neonatal patients utilizing patient cooperation and diagnostic equipment.

**What you will do**

+ Assess patient and ordered diagnostic services to ensure for adequate ability of patient to be tested
+ Ensure that all quality standards have been performed and are acceptable prior to patient testing
+ Prepare reports in an accurate and timely manner
+ Perform normal equipment maintenance procedures and maintain laboratory area as a clean and safe environment, disinfecting and/or sterilizing all equipment prior to patient interface
