Job Profile Summary
Under limited direction, plan, organize, oversee, and direct the daily operations of their assigned Public Safety Department. Manages supervisory personnel and safety officers who provide personal, real property, and equipment security throughout campus, ensuring consistent and equitable enforcement of college regulations. Maintains strong relationship between Broward College and its law enforcement partners and other public safety partners. Reviews and approves reports on incident and crime investigations. Maintains a safe and secure learning and working environment, promotes staff development and ensures public awareness of health and safety issues. Performs related work as directed.Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field.
An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

Minimum Experience/Training:
