About the Role
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a well-established hospital service in Christchurch. You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering specialist mental health care to children, adolescents, and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evidence-based treatment
- Developing and implementing individualised care plans
- Working closely with psychologists, nurses, social workers, and external providers
- Supervising and supporting junior medical staff
- Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives
