Job Summary

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team. This per diem, hospital-employed position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to both adults and child/adolescent populations within the inpatient setting. The schedule is Monday-Friday, with a shared call rotation. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with a NYS License.

+ Conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and coordinate care plans

+ Work collaboratively with psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, and other support staff
