Fraser Health Authority (FHA) and the Mental Health and Substance Use Program are seeking a psychiatrist. This role combines inpatient psychiatry at Chilliwack General Hospital with community psychiatry across Chilliwack, Agassiz, and Hope, focusing on adult psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment, treatment, and consultation for general psychiatric patients.
• Lead family meetings and participate in case conferences.
• Facilitate discharge planning and collaborate with other physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote continuity of care by fostering positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Participate in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and on‑call rotation.
• Contribute to the medical education program for University of British Columbia (UBC) undergraduate and postgraduate trainees.
