Psychiatry - Addiction Physician

Facility minutes from downtown Manhattan seeks a Board Certified Psychiatrist/Medical Director with subspecialty in addiction to assist the Program Director in monitoring and assuring the provision of quality outpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment services, with a special emphasis on medically supervised quality care. This job pays 290k per year approximately.

Basic duties include performing psychiatric evaluation, providing medication assisted treatment, participating in multi-disciplinary team case conferencing, sign toxicology authorization forms, review & sign initial treatment plans, conduct emergency psychiatric evaluations as needed, review incoming referral packages.
