Psychiatrist

Our client is looking for a candidate to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. They conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results. Expected to provide excellent patient care and compassion in every counter and across programs, aligned with the organizations core values.

• Current and valid board certification in psychiatry 
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved psychiatric residency 
• Licensed to practice medicine in New York 
• Current DEA registration 
• Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology 
• Training and experience in providing Medication Assisted Therapies (MAT) preferred 
• Familiar with crisis assessment tools and techniques 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
