Psychiatric Technician - (13304)

InGenesis is currently seeking a Psychiatric Technician to work with our client. In this role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care and behavioral support to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or severe psychiatric conditions in residential and community settings. This role involves direct care, coaching, and implementation of nursing and behavioral support plans. Key Responsibilities: Direct Care & Support (40%) * Assist consumers with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, grooming, mobility, dining). * Support independence in household tasks (e.g., laundry, cooking, cleaning). * Promote consumer rights, choice-making, and positive behavioral interventions. * Escort consumers to appointments and community activities. * Maintain adaptive equipment and assist in recreational, vocational, and educational programs.
