Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: This position will perform prototype duties with a particular expertise in manufacturing and fabrication.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Use manufacturing paperwork (travelers, blueprints, sketches, etc.) to:- Prototype a product to meet customer and quality requirements
Prototype tooling and/or fixtures required to manufacture productPerform a prototype review on existing products for cost reduction and/or prototype changes
Meet time and schedule standards for assigned tasks
Keep equipment clean and maintain proper operating standards
Advise supervision of issues that arise
Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance
Communicate effectively with other employees to direct personal workflow
