Protection Application Design Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Protection Application Design Engineer to join our team, responsible for the design and commissioning of IED Protection parameters (Logic, Communication, Protection Settings) for complex international technical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the optimal type of IED to meet client requirements in line with protection plans.
• Implement LV/MV protection settings.
• Develop and commission Automatic Transfer Logic (ATS).
• Participate in Factory and Site testing of protection relays.
• Develop complex logic functions inside IEDs to satisfy client needs.
• Implement communication IED descriptions (CID files) for internal and external SCADA systems.
• Define IP and Ethernet networks between connected devices.
