Proprietary Trader

A multi-strategy hedge fund is looking for prop traders running both systematic and/or discretionary strategies. There will be meaningful capital allocations, and full autonomy over their book.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies using the firm’s capital across global asset classes (equities, futures, options, FX, fixed income, commodities, and crypto).
• Run either systematic (quant-driven, backtested, automated) or discretionary (fundamental, catalyst-driven, relative value, or macro) strategies – or a hybrid approach.
• Manage live risk in real-time, optimize execution, and maintain strict risk limits while maximizing risk-adjusted returns.
• Conduct ongoing research, backtesting (for systematic ideas), and idea generation (for discretionary books) to refine and expand your strategies.
• Analyze performance attribution, market regimes, and positioning to continuously improve your edge.
