The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Controls & Automation Proposals Engineer to join a well‑established systems integration and industrial automation business in their Middlesbrough office. Working closely with the Senior Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for developing high‑quality technical proposals across a diverse range of automation solutions, from PLC and SCADA systems through to full turnkey projects. This is a varied, client‑facing role combining technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong communication skills, ideal for someone with an engineering background looking to move into a proposals or pre‑sales position.
