Property Accountant (MRI Experience Required)

Zipdev is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to support a U.S.-based real estate investment firm. This is a full-time remote role ideal for someone with strong accounting skills, Yardi experience, and a deep understanding of financial reporting within the real estate sector. You'll work directly with the Controller to ensure accurate property-level accounting and support the broader finance team.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare journal entries and month-end reports.
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and sales tax filings.
3. Prepare monthly financial packages and perform bank reconciliations.
4. Handle CAM estimates and reconciliations for assigned properties.
5. Set up new properties in Yardi and verify lease/tenant data.
