BESIX Watpac is seeking a Project Safety Coordinator for a large meat-processing facility project in Rockhampton.
This role will be responsible for:
Assist the Project Manager in the development and implementation of the Project Safety Management Plan. Conduct operational audits, site observations and inspections, and toolbox talks. Investigate all injuries, illnesses and notifiable incidents that arise at the BESIX Watpac workplace or through BESIX Watpac activities related to the project. Assist in the development and implementation of emergency procedures for the project. Assist in the facilitation of consultation with workers and other duty holders, including employees of subcontractors.
