Role overview: My client is a leading civil engineering contractor. Due to planned growth and an influx of work in The Southwest, they are looking to appoint, on a permanent or long-term contract basis, a Project Manager with a solid background in Civil Engineering Projects. Initially, the successful candidate will be deployed on a project in the Marchwood area just west of Southampton which comprises heavy civils works and has a long term programme.

Project Manager’s experience and competence

• Proven experience of managing multiple high complexity projects within the relevant discipline.
• 10 years or more experience preferred. Experience of managing projects £2m plus.
• Proven experience of managing multiple high complexity Design & Build Projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline (essential).
