Location: Remote - England, United Kingdom. Job ID: R0074047. The opportunity: Hitachi Energy is hiring a Project Manager, Engineering to join the team. This role supports coordination of design activities, documentation and diagrams, and collaboration with tendering to ensure safe, robust, and optimal designs and documentation. Onsite presence is required in Birmingham 2/3 days per month or as required by the business. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design team across all disciplines and interface with project management on engineering budgets, providing forecast cost to complete estimates and justification for changes in expenditure.
• Manage the programme and liaise with planning engineers for design, providing forecasts for completion and resource planning.
• Approve documentation in accordance with contractual requirements of the project.
