Job Description
Leading a large technical team through projects, to develop and deploy state of the art process controls technologies including hardware and software engineering capabilities in support of early stage, pilot and high-volume manufacturing activities for new technology transfer, process improvement, cost reduction or capacity expansion.
Actively develop and partnership with technical leaders in developing PCS strategy to support execution of corporate priorities and all Corning business operations and growth across Asia.
Advance and maintain technical competencies in PCS by actively participating and leading control system architecture, hardware and software designs for process equipment, process/product prototyping, and factory automation.
Initiate and lead control solution projects as appropriate to support competency and capability development to advance operational competitive advantage and build pipeline of engineering talents.
