Project Engineer

Jr. Davis Construction Project Engineers work in conjunction with the Project Manager and project team to drive and coordinate the various processes of heavy civil construction projects. You will be responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule by managing submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, and maintaining schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

+ Manages work schedules and coordinates design changes and/or plan revisions with the project owners.

+ Working knowledge of the scope of a project. Regularly consult field operations, vendors, and subcontractors.

+ On a Day-to-day basis project engineer reviews project requirements, makes adjustments to the scope of the project schedule, analyzes specifications, coordinates with the production team, and tracks all contract pay items.

+ Updates the project schedule with input from Field Operations per the contract specifications.
