Project Engineer

About the Role:Project Engineer. Transdev North America, Inc.
+ Provide on-field and office engineering support by performing construction and maintenance inspections and supervision of Transdev rail operations.
+ Review bid proposal specifications, drawings and existing site conditions to determine the scope of rail work.
+ Attend pre-bid meetings and actively participate in discussions regarding project requirements and expectations.
+ Oversee the good faith effort process and effectively communicate the DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) requirements to the estimating team. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, permits, and quality control records.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating smooth project execution.
+ Coordinate bid preparation requirements with the Contract Administrator to ensure accurate and timely submission of bids.
