Project Engineer I

**Position Summary**

This position is responsible for supporting the project team on smaller, less complex projects. The role assists a project manager or managers to successfully coordinate a project using the necessary engineering, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and subcontracted services.

**Position Details**

+ Maximize project team’s effectiveness and efficiency by utilizing own organizational skills to provide basic project support to senior project management staff.
+ Supports the project construction team as needed.
+ Estimates the impact of project changes.
+ Manages change orders.
+ Assembles submittal packages and other required project documentation.
+ Assists with procurement of equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other project related services.
+ Analyzes and resolves basic construction related questions and issues.

**Qualifications**

+ Four-year degree in related field, or applicable experience.
