Project Engineer

Job Summary and Purpose

Responsible for identification, planning, design and execution of engineering specifications related to structural, Electrical, Piping and commissioning system (as assigned) for ship repair, offshore and new building projects throughout the project execution cycle for the assigned projects.

Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for handling engineering asignments related to structural, Electrical, Piping and commissioning system (as assigned) in ship repair, conversion, new build and off shore jobs.
2. Ensuring engineering work undertaken is in accordance with Departmental Work Instructions, Procedures and Standards and also implementing day-to-day operations in compliance with the established standards and procedures.
3. Identify, select and design various engineering systems for assigned projects and undertake verification of calculations, as required.
