Job Description

Senior Solar PV Electrical Project Engineer — Fixed -Term (12 months)
 Intro to client:

We're supporting a leading renewable energy player to appoint a Senior Solar PV Electrical Project Engineer on a 12 -month fixed -term contract. Role is South Africa site based with travel. Start: ASAP. Only open to south africans

Basic responsibilities:

Lead the electrical scope from detailed design → commissioning → COD.

Produce/review SLDs, stringing, cable sizing, earthing & lightning, MV and protection coordination.

Manage grid connection (utility liaison, self -build works), compliance, SCADAintegration.

Compile ERs/specs/BoQs; review OEM datasheets (inverters/transformers/switchgear/relays); resolve TQs/CRs.

Oversee FAT/SAT, site QA/QC, performance testing, as -builts and O&M h...
