Project Cost Controller

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Monitoring & Control

• Track all incoming and outgoing materials (receipts, issuances, transfers)
• Maintain accurate stock balances (physical vs system)
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts

2. Cost Management

• Monitor material costing (FIFO, weighted average, etc.)
• Ensure correct valuation of inventory in reports
• Analyze cost variances and identify root causes
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and waste reduction

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Maintain records of delivery receipts, purchase orders, and issuance slips
• Reconcile inventory with accounting and procurement records
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing
