Job Purpose
The Project Cost Accountant will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and reporting project and production costs at the factory site, ensuring accurate cost allocation, budgetary control, variance analysis, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The role is critical in supporting management decision-making and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Project & Cost Control
Monitor project-wise and production-wise costs against approved budgets.
Maintain detailed cost sheets, including material, labor, overhead, and subcontractor costs.
Perform budget vs actual variance analysis and report deviations with explanations.
Track WIP (Work in Progress) and ensure accurate capitalization of project costs.
