Programme Analyst: Climate Change

UNFPA is the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, working to ensure that every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person's potential is fulfilled. In Eastern and Southern Africa, UNFPA supports 23 countries to advance gender equality, reproductive rights, and resilience—particularly in the context of climate change and innovation.

Climate change poses a growing threat to sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and youth wellbeing across the region. UNFPA integrates climate resilience and innovation into its programmes to protect development gains and reach the most vulnerable populations.
