POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing management in the overall management, coordination and education  activities associated with Emergency Preparedness (EP), and hazardous materials (HAZMAT). Maintains knowledge and expertise in EP and HAZMAT programs and policies. Manages the South Texas Health System (STHS) planning and implementation of EP drills and exercises with the STHS, city, county, regional, and state representatives.
