The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air Staff-level Functional Manager for Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) as well as the AFTAC Air Staff Liaison Officer (LNO) to the A2-6 Directorate at the Pentagon. Works directly for the AFTAC Commander's Foreign Policy Advisor (POLAD). Responsibilities - As a Senior Program Analyst, performs work related to the analysis, evaluation, and implementation of effective programs assigned at the Air Staff level. Serves as the WMD functional expert and HAF/A2-6 representative to various agencies; Air Staff, MAJCOMs, DoD, and/or other government committees and working groups dealing with missions, programs, requirements, resources, and polices impacting areas of responsibility. - Provides senior military and civilian officials with specific detailed information in support of classified national-level programs.
