UPMC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Professional Staff Nurse, OP to support the UPMC Vision Institute at the UPMC Mercy Pavilion (1622 Locust Street, 5th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15219). This Monday-Friday role (7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., with occasional later hours during training) offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of patient care and research. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting ophthalmic clinical trials by coordinating patient scheduling, performing blood draws, and serving as a resource for patients with questions regarding ongoing studies. The nurse will collaborate closely with physicians and the research team to ensure seamless trial operations and high-quality patient experiences.
