production technician - 3 mths contract

• Minimum Nitec/Diploma in any field
• Able to follow instructions
• Good motor skills and the ability to do fine assembly
• Ability to check for defects; identify and distinguish between colors
• Capable of working independently to a production schedule
• Good oral communication skills (English)
• Open to work in a start-up environment
• Available to start work immediately
• Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm (with availability to commit to occasional OT work)

• Participate in day to day floor operations
• Perform routine production schedule under supervision of a manager
• Engage in training of production floor activities
• Perform equipment setup, operation and equipment adjustments
• Preventative maintenance for safety, quality and efficiency
