SUMMARY

Influence, train and communicate with employees to produce quality products while reducing scrap and rework, meeting on time shipment schedules, minimizing cost and maintaining a positive work environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Manage and develop employees
• Train the employees on procedures within the department
• Manage continual improvement
• Maintain the department with a 5S philosophy
• Reduce/eliminate scrap
• Assist maintenance with maintaining equipment
• Establish intervals of tooling repair/cleaning
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Confers with management team on setting and adjusting production schedules.
