What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Supervise production activities by ensuring that products are produced and packaged in correct quantities in accordance with agreed specifications
• Ensure products are produced according to quality standards
• Record products produced and problems encountered during shift to ensure the smooth changeover of shifts accurately
• Manage non-performance and disciplinary issues on shift with HR/Production Manager
• Ensure all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures
• Ensure all employees work in a safe manner by following company health, safety and housekeeping regulations
• Lead the team, ensure team works together as efficiently as possible, assess training needs of staff and coordinate training with Production Manager/ HR.
• Ensure adequate staffing to cover absenteeism and holidays, as well as normal operations
