Production & Repair Engineer

Overview

One of our clients in the Castleford area is currently looking for a Production & Repair Engineer with the ability to assemble and test their electronic transmission products to a high degree of quality and accuracy to join the team.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4.30pm

Salary: £32-34k p/a (depending on experience)

Duties

• Program, modify, and test printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and defined procedures.
• Perform electrical and functional testing, including complex fault-finding and diagnosis to PCB level
• Diagnose and complete component-level PCBA repairs
• Carry out final assembly, firmware programming, and verification testing prior to product release
• Support prototype and pre-production builds, working closely with R&D colleagues.
