• Responsible for production and assembly activities, quality control, purchasing, logistics, and supply within a plant.
• Responsible for the production operation budget.
• Implements short and long‑term manufacturing plans.
• Formulates and secures approval for technological improvements to ensure quality standards.
• Focuses on implementing and executing strategies within production.
• Frequently advises others on complex matters.
• Ensures that government regulations and company standards are achieved and maintained in production and quality control.
• Participates in production strategy planning.
• Leads a team of direct reports.
• Usually reports to Head of Production or Plant Manager.
