Job Description

The mission of the position is to lead, plan, coordinate, implement and control all material planning activities and functions to meet production plan, operations budget and supply chain targets ( maximize delivery performance, reduce cost and inventories) and to represent the plant with internal and external contacts regarding SCM Material Planning topics. 
Adheres to the stock strategy guidelines that is supplied by BA SCM and align with Plant SCM.
Manage exceptions messages and review raw material requirements daily in MRP.
Convert Purchase Reqs to Purchase Orders where needed.
Analyzes raw material supply to ensure we are staying balanced with inventory.
Responsible for monitoring of supply by ensuring confirmation on purchase orders following up on expected and late deliveries.
Communicates with vendors to obtain product or service information, availability, and delivery schedule.
