**Job Summary**
The Production Planner will be responsible for scheduling the assembly and fabrication of sheet metal parts.
In addition to scheduling the orders and associated tasks, the position is also responsible for scheduling every individual manufacturing order and machine.
The planner will ensure that all parts needed to manufacture an order are available according to the production plan.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
