Production Operator/ Production Supervisor

Our client is an established dynamic South Australian family-owned business supplying potatoes and onions (and other crops) for sale in major Australian supermarket chains and produce markets nationally. They are currently looking for skilled, experienced and qualified Production Operator and Production Supervisor for their business. 

As a Production Operator you are responsible for the operation of machinery and equipment to assist with assembling, manufacturing, processing, packaging and quality assurance of items along a production line. 

Your tasks will include:

• Set up cleaning and maintenance schedules to prevent problems by keeping machines in good working order

• Operating production machinery, including calibrating equipment to monitoring gauges, making adjustments as required

• Inspect finished products, take samples and undertake product quality control
