Production Operator

The Best Connection is currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our manufacturing client based in East Ayrshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business with an immediate start available. The role is offered on an initial 3-month contract with weekly pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Locate and transport materials to machinery using a Forklift Truck (FLT).
• Set up and operate production equipment including roll flatteners, edge mills, linishers, and brushes.
• Load selected foil materials and ensure they are clean and free from oil contamination.
• Operate milling equipment, checking material dimensions and removing damaged, oversized, or undersized material before recoiling.
• Load and unload production ovens.
• Complete material logging and tracking using computer systems.
• Carry out routine housekeeping duties, including:
