Production Operative

Overview

The Opportunity: Under close supervision, assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products within routine and repetitive assembly operations. Use various hand and power tools and operate equipment which may include jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses in order to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble. Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements. Monitor quality of products and raw materials.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety precautions and PPE requirements while completing the duties in a safe manner.
• Ensure the lines are set-up and running to the production schedule in accordance with work orders.
