Job Description
Minimum requirements for the role:
Previous experience having worked a Production Manager in the Paints and Coatings industry is essential for the role.
A tertiary qualification in a production, technical or chemically related discipline is required for this role.
Previous experience managing a team of Production Staff is essential.
Must be able to implement and drive processes and procedures.
Must have extensive understanding of On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) manufacturing.
Previous experience handling a unionised workforce is an added advantage. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Strategically managing and overseeing the smooth operation of all coatings and related production for the company.
Managing, overseeing, directing and driving staff and production efficiencies, quality and quantity specifications, ensuring that production KPI’s are met.
