Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for all meat processing in high throughput meat butchery and deli.
- Should manage block men under his care as well as processing and packaging of meat.
- Planning of meat orders and processing.
- Stock management and waste minimization.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years' experience in the meat industry.
- Qualified and experience as a block man.
- Experience as a production manager for 5 or more years in a similar role.
- Computer literate with knowledge of recipes and block tests utilizing software.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel is important as well.
- Own transport.
- Code B license.
