Production Team Leader – NIGHT SHIFT

Hours: NIGHT SHIFT 6PM‑6AM
Location: Geary's Bakeries Ltd | Glenfield | LE3 8JR
Rate: £14.94ph + £1ph for Nights, 10pm‑4am

The Role

• Lead, manage and develop your team to produce our bread.
• Ensure products are produced to the correct specification.
• Effectively manage holidays, rest days, and breaks while maintaining sufficient skilled staff.
• Ensure all documentation—including pre‑start checks, technical documentation, and KPI information—is completed correctly and timely.
• Control staff so that everyone knows their own roles and responsibilities.
• Cover the supervisor on holidays and breaks.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Food Safety (metal detection).
• Ensure all product is produced to specification.
• Maintain a high level of GMP through setting standards and coaching.
