**Job Description**

The Production Lead is responsible for assisting with daily floor oversight, task delegation, and acting as lead in the absence of a supervisor. This role involves maintaining flow on extrusion lines, enforcing quality control standards, troubleshooting bottlenecks, and approving profiles. Additionally, the Production Lead will train new hires on standard operating procedures, equipment, and line adjustments while providing ongoing coaching. Safety protocols are paramount; therefore, the role involves enforcing PPE, assisting with audits, completing shift paperwork, and supporting shift-to-shift communication. Maintaining logs, scrap reports, attendance records, and handoff notes is crucial. The Production Lead will identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to optimize production.
