Production Associate (3-Month Contract) (Barrie)

Position Summary

We are looking for a Production Associate to join our team. In a specified area of the plant, the Production Associate will be required to move, sort, break apart and lift materials in an efficient manner while respecting standards of security and safety. The Production Associate will be responsible for operating the baler that compresses and bounds materials, operate the shrink wrapper, and assist in other areas of the warehouse as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and sort different electronic materials in assigned boxes while adhering to classification of commodities into different grades to maximize production output.
• Manually dismantle electronics materials by hand using small tools.
• Follow policies, procedures, and work instructions for all daily activities.
• Sort materials into defined categories and report weights processed.
• Record data into ERP system regarding weight of material.
