Product Manager, Assessment

About this role

We are looking for curriculum specialists in senior secondary subjects. Secondment or fixed term opportunity available. Wellington preference but can work remotely nationally.

The Product Manager Assessment role sits in the Curriculum and Assessment Change Programme, a key unit within Te Poutāhū Curriculum Centre. The Programme works in partnership with other Te Poutāhū business units to enable the products and outcomes delivered from these projects to move into the business for ongoing delivery, maintenance, and support.

Responsibilities

• Understand the curriculum design vision and use it to lead teams toward consistent, high‑quality outcomes.
• Act as the organisational glue that enables coherence across subjects, teams, and leaders.
• Operate both downstream (supporting teams) and upstream (informing strategy), ensuring that decisions and delivery remain tightly connected.
